The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (BRIC-inStem), Bengaluru, an autonomous research institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has invited online applications for the contractual post of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Developmental Chromatin Dynamics Laboratory of Dr. Srinivas Animireddy.
The selected candidate will contribute to research involving epigenomics, transcriptomics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis. The role also includes planning and executing experiments, maintaining laboratory records, analyzing experimental data, conducting literature reviews, participating in scientific discussions, and assisting with routine mammalian cell culture studies. The appointment is purely contractual for 11 months, with the possibility of renewal based on project requirements and performance review.
Eligibility
Essential Qualification
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology (3+2 years stream)
- M.Sc. in Bioinformatics
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in programming using R, Python, or related languages.
- Expertise in Genomics, Epigenomics, Transcriptomics, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years.
