About
ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Regional Station, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar, has invited eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the post of Young Professional-II (YP-II) under the externally funded project “National Mission on High Yielding Seeds – Pigeonpea” (Project Code: 12-289R).
The appointment is purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates will support research activities related to crop genetics, plant breeding, field and laboratory experiments, data analysis, and documentation.
Eligibility
Candidates should possess a Postgraduate Degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Genetics & Plant Breeding
- Plant Physiology
- Seed Science & Technology
- Biotechnology
- Allied disciplines of Life Sciences
Desirable Experience:
- Around 2 years of experience in:
- Crop genetics and breeding
- Field and laboratory experimentation
- Data collection and analysis
- Documentation and report preparation
- Computer-related work
