About

The CSIR–Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for multiple temporary contractual project positions under various research projects. The recruitment includes opportunities in Computational Biophysics, Biological Sciences, Wildlife Science, Science Education, and Science Communication & Outreach. Selected candidates will work on long-term research projects extending up to 31 March 2031, depending on the project.

Eligibility

1. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – Computational Biophysics

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Qualification:
    • Master’s degree in Biological/Chemical/Physical Sciences OR
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in computational biophysics.
    • Enhanced-sampling molecular dynamics simulations.
    • Structural analysis of biomolecules.
  • Age Limit: 35 years.

2. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – Biological Sciences / Forestry / Wildlife Science / Zoology

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Qualification:
    • M.Sc./MS in Biological Sciences, Forestry, Wildlife Science, or Zoology.
  • Desirable:
    • Minimum 60% marks.
    • At least one year of laboratory and field work experience.
    • Knowledge of Indian wildlife.
  • Age Limit: 35 years.

3. Principal Project Associate

  • Vacancies: 1
  • Area: Science Education
  • Qualification:
    • Ph.D. in Biology or related area.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in science research, education, or outreach.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in science outreach.
    • Teacher training in hands-on science.
    • Educational content development.
  • Age Limit: 40 years.

4. Senior Project Associate

  • Vacancies: 2
  • Area: Science Communication & Outreach
  • Qualification:
    • Master’s degree in Biology or related area.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in science research or education.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience communicating science to non-scientists through mainstream or social media.
  • Age Limit: 40 years.
