Merck Group (the businesses of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany) is inviting applications for the position of Analyst – Product Life Cycle & Master Data Management in Bangalore, Karnataka. This full-time opportunity is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals (0–3 years of experience) with a background in Life Sciences.
The selected candidate will work closely with Product Managers to support Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), Master Data Management (MDM), product information management, data quality, reporting, and business operations. The role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career with a global science and technology company operating across Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) activities.
- Review and maintain product master data for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data cleansing, data enrichment, and consistency checks.
- Troubleshoot Product Information Management (PIM) and web product data.
- Support change control, material extensions, and ticketing processes.
- Assist Product Managers with portfolio initiatives and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) and quality standards are met.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and PMO activities.
Eligibility
Candidates should possess any of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc (Life Sciences)
- M.Sc (Life Sciences)
- B.Pharm
- Biotechnology or other related Life Science disciplines
Experience:
- Freshers and candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience are eligible.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong Life Science knowledge
- Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
- Database handling
- Power BI or data analytics tools
- Good communication and analytical skills
