About
The Young Voices of Science (YVoS) Fall 2026 Program is now accepting applications. Developed by the Hubbard Brook Research Foundation (HBRF), this free program helps science scholars develop practical science communication skills through expert-led workshops and real-world outreach experience.
Participants will learn how to effectively communicate scientific research to broader audiences through storytelling, public engagement, creative writing, and science-to-policy outreach. The program also includes mentorship while participants design and complete an outreach project.

- Graduate students
- Undergraduate students
- Early-career scientists
- Individuals working in environmental science or closely related fields
