About

The Novo Nordisk Foundation is hiring a Project Manager, Health for its India Branch Office in New Delhi. The role focuses on partnership development and management of health initiatives related to cardiometabolic diseases (CMDs), antimicrobial resistance (AMR), healthcare systems strengthening, biotechnology, and food systems.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Foundation’s teams in India and Copenhagen, collaborating with international organizations, government agencies, NGOs, and implementing partners. The position is part of the Global Partnerships & Events department and involves frequent travel within India.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting collaborations with partner organizations
  • Developing and scoping new health initiatives in India
  • Managing projects in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and healthcare professional training
  • Supporting cross-country knowledge exchange and regional health discussions
  • Preparing strategic documents for senior management and stakeholders
  • Contributing to global partnership and coordination models
  • Building relationships between the India Branch Office and NNF headquarters

Eligibility

Applicants should have:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in:
    • Public Health
    • Health Policy
    • Epidemiology
    • Clinical Medicine
    • Nursing
    • Midwifery
    • Or a related health field

Required experience and skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in health project or programme management
  • Strong understanding of Indian government systems (central and state)
  • Experience working with NGOs and global health partners
  • Expertise in:
    • Project management
    • Monitoring and evaluation
    • Co-creative project design
    • Multi-project coordination
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
  • Ability to work in hybrid and cross-functional teams
