The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the Joint CSIR UGC-NET June 2026 Examination. This national-level examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Science subjects across India.

The examination covers the following subjects:

  • Chemical Sciences
  • Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences
  • Life Sciences
  • Mathematical Sciences
  • Physical Sciences

Candidates interested in pursuing research careers or academic positions can submit their applications through the official CSIR NET portal.

Eligibility

Candidates holding or pursuing relevant science degrees may apply as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification. Common qualifying degrees include:
