Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the position of Project Associate-I under a DBT-funded research project titled “Defining the role of WRKY transcription factors in regulating Phytophthora capcisi infection in black pepper”. The position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Moumita Srivastava, Scientist-C at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The appointment is initially for one year or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended based on performance evaluation. Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of ₹25,000 per month plus 18% HRA.
Eligibility
- First Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences such as:
- Microbiology
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Other related Life Science disciplines
- Desirable skills:
- Plant tissue culture experience
- Western blotting
- PCR techniques
- Microbial culture handling
