Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Biophysical Characterization: Leading the end-to-end execution of biophysical characterization projects.
- Analytical Method Development: Developing and implementing analytical methods for peptides, monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and oligonucleotides.
- Advanced Analytical Techniques: Working with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), fluorescence, Circular Dichroism (CD), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and light-scattering techniques.
- Scientific Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining scientific records, ensuring effective laboratory operations, and following Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Research and Development: Contributing to R&D initiatives, scientific publications, workshops, and conferences.
- Team Mentoring: Guiding team members and supporting collaborative scientific projects.
What Mumbai BioCluster Is Looking For
Candidates should demonstrate:
- A minimum of three years of relevant hands-on experience in biophysics or analytical research.
- Practical experience in the biophysical characterization of biotherapeutics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience in NMR data acquisition and spectral assignment, which will be an added advantage.
Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
Applicants should hold one of the following qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology.
- M.Sc. in Biological Sciences.
- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry.
- M.Tech. in Biotechnology.
- M.Sc. / M.Tech. in a related discipline relevant to the position.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on professional experience.

Preferred Technical Skills:
