NIDM – Resilient India, Disaster Free India
NIDM invites applications for the F.Y. 2026–27 for its stipend-based internship programme from students of universities/institutes with an objective to innovate and contribute new ideas and techniques in the field of disaster risk reduction.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
i. Students pursuing in their final year of graduation or students in any year/semester of post-graduation, MPhil, Ph.D in Disaster Management and allied fields such as Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Mass Communication, Management, Engineering, Health Studies, Architecture Design, etc. However, students who have recently completed their degree or are awaiting final results in relevant subjects may also apply for the internship program of NIDM.
ii. At least 65% marks is required in last degree/semester.
NATURE OF ASSIGNMENT
The interns will be engaged in various divisions, including both academic and non-academic areas of NIDM, as per requirement. Interns shall be assigned tasks/activities pertaining to the division/Centre of NIDM. The details are as follows:

⭐ The internship duration ranges from 2 to 4 months (subject to mentor review), with a maximum intake of 15 interns per cycle.
⭐ Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Google Form by 15 April 2026 by 5 PM; no prior or late submissions will be accepted.
