The Varghese Lab at UCLA is seeking highly motivated, creative, and passionate postdoctoral researcher(s) with a strong background in polymer chemistry or synthetic chemistry to join our interdisciplinary research team.
Our lab focuses on developing next-generation biomaterials and translational technologies to address important challenges in tissue repair, inflammation, and regenerative medicine. We combine polymer chemistry, biomaterials design, organoids, and organ-on-chip systems, along with in vivo models, to generate biological insights and create technologies with real clinical impact.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in working at the intersection of chemistry, biomaterials, and biomedical engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have:
- A Ph.D. in polymer chemistry, synthetic chemistry, materials chemistry, or a related field
- Strong experience in polymer synthesis, organic synthesis, and material characterization
- A strong publication record
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in interdisciplinary and translational research
