The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Falcone Lab, is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Position.


General Overview

The Falcone Lab integrates genomics, multiomics, and neuroimaging data to study:

  • Acute brain injury (ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, traumatic brain injury)
  • Chronic brain injury (silent cerebrovascular disease)

The research focuses on identifying biological mechanisms and developing precision medicine tools to improve brain health.

The lab has a strong track record of training postdoctoral researchers for successful careers in academia and industry.

Candidates will work under Guido Falcone and collaborate with multiple investigators across the United States.

Visa sponsorship for non-US applicants is available.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and test research hypotheses
  • Design and execute analytical research plans
  • Conduct data collection and analysis
  • Write research papers and grant applications
  • Present findings at national and international conferences

Qualifications

  • MD, PhD, ScD, DrPH, MPH, or MSc (required)
  • Experience in population genetics, computational biology, or related analytical fields
  • Strong organizational and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
