The Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University has announced the NanoBioTech Nexus Open Call for Innovative Ideas 2026, inviting researchers, startups, SMEs, and innovators to develop impactful solutions at the intersection of nanotechnology and biotechnology, with a strong focus on healthcare challenges.
This initiative is part of the NanoBioTech Nexus project and aims to support ideas that move beyond the laboratory and demonstrate real-world applicability.
Focus Areas
Proposals are invited in the following domains:
- Wound care and infection prevention
- Rapid diagnostics and contamination monitoring
- Antimicrobial resistance and biofilm disruption
- Oncology and intraoperative imaging
- Emergency medicine and hemostasis
- Advanced medical materials and coatings
- Prosthetics and patient care solutions
Project Requirements
Applicants should present:
- Technically feasible solutions
- Innovative approaches
- A clear pathway toward real-world implementation and impact
What is Offered
- Total prize fund of €20,000
