ANRF–NPDF is aimed at identifying motivated young researchers and providing them with support for doing research in frontier areas of science and engineering.
Fellowship Details

Fellowship: ₹80,000 per month + HRA

Research Grant: ₹2 lakh per annum

Overheads: ₹1 lakh per annum

Duration: 2 years
Eligibility & Conditions

The applicant must have obtained Ph.D. / M.D. / M.S. degree.
Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply. -
The upper age limit for the fellowship is 35 years at the time of submission of application

Candidates should apply within five years from the date of Ph.D. viva-voce examination.

Fellows will not be allowed to work with the guide/co-guide or at the same department/institution where they earned the above degree(s).

A mentor may submit a maximum of two applications in a single call.

A mentor shall not supervise more than two ANRF–NPDF fellows at any given time.
